The Role
As the Senior Electrical Reliability Engineer, you will drive reliability improvement strategies and provide technical leadership across electrical assets, helping optimise plant performance, reduce risk and improve asset life.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead electrical reliability improvement and defect elimination initiatives
- Deliver obsolescence studies and equipment replacement projects
- Provide technical support during shutdowns and maintenance activities
- Develop and review maintenance and asset replacement strategies
- Conduct critical spares reviews and optimise inventory strategies
- Facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and corrective actions
- Support electrical maintenance teams with complex breakdown issues
- Tertiary-qualified Electrical Engineer
- Extensive experience in mining, heavy industry, or process plant environments
- Strong background in reliability engineering and asset management
- Experience with RCA, maintenance strategy development and continuous improvement
- Knowledge of Schneider and Rockwell VSDs, switchgear and Power Management Systems (PMS) highly regarded
- Comfortable working in a site-based FIFO role and engaging with operational stakeholders
