Based in Perth, this role offers a balance of office and site-based work, giving you the opportunity to oversee construction quality, manage stakeholder relationships and play a key role in successful project delivery across a diverse portfolio of projects.
The Opportunity
Acting as the Superintendent's Representative, you will oversee contractors and construction activities, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with project specifications and standards.
Working closely with clients, contractors and design teams, you'll be involved across all stages of project delivery while maintaining a strong presence on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct site inspections and surveillance activities
- Monitor contractor performance, compliance and quality outcomes
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved drawings and specifications
- Identify and manage defects, non-conformances and construction issues
- Liaise with clients, contractors and project stakeholders
- Prepare site reports and project documentation
- Support the delivery of electrical infrastructure projects
- Promote and maintain safe work practices across project sites
- Experience supervising, inspecting or overseeing electrical construction works
- Strong understanding of electrical infrastructure projects and construction practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work autonomously across multiple project locations
- Current WA Driver's Licence
- Western Power project experience
- Utilities, distribution network or subdivision project experience
- Background as an Electrical Supervisor, Inspector, Superintendent or Project Engineer
- Electrical trade qualification and/or engineering degree
- Permanent Perth-based position
