We are seeking a commercially astute Contract Specialist to lead end-to-end procurement and contract management activities across a portfolio of fixed plant and construction projects. This role offers the opportunity to influence procurement strategy, drive commercial value, and manage complex contractor relationships from sourcing through to contract close-out.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies for major project contracts.
- Lead tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award processes.
- Manage contract performance, compliance, claims, and dispute resolution activities.
- Identify and deliver capital efficiency and cost-saving opportunities.
- Build strong stakeholder and contractor relationships to drive successful project outcomes.
- Collaborate across procurement and project teams to maximise value and commercial performance.
- Proven experience managing end-to-end procurement and contracting activities within construction, mining, infrastructure, or major projects.
- Strong commercial acumen with exceptional negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Experience developing category strategies and managing complex contract arrangements.
- Demonstrated success in claims management, contract administration, and dispute resolution.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
