Required Skills:
- Minimum 8 years of civil construction experience, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of bulk earthworks, roadworks, drainage, concrete, and site preparation
- Proven contractor and stakeholder management skills in fast-paced environments
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction schedules
- Sound understanding of WA WHS and mine safety legislation
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities, with a focus on safety and team development
- Skilled in daily reporting, progress tracking, defect management, and handover documentation
- Competent in using Microsoft Office, with experience in construction reporting systems like Aconex, SAP, or InEight a plus
- Experience in both brownfield and greenfield projects
- Knowledge of constructability reviews, Safety in Design, HAZID, HAZOP, and risk assessments
- Incident investigation training or certification (ICAM or equivalent)
- Relevant site competencies and current Australian driver licence
- Trade certificate, Diploma or Certificate IV in Civil Construction or Frontline Management, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated experience supervising civil teams in mining, resources, or heavy industrial projects
- Ability to work on a roster of 14 days on, 7 days off at project sites near Perth
- Commitment to safety and environmental standards, with the ability to promote a values-based team culture
- Flexibility to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
