You will be working with a results focused engineering consultancy that can provide you with the opportunity to further your experience in the mining industry. They have the capacity to work across every phase of a project and can offer you unique and interesting project work as well as a welcoming work environment and flexible working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aligning the Health and Safety Management systems to client and project specific requirements
  • Coordinating the Safety in Design process in accordance with the project design criteria
  • Ensuring that all health and safety records are maintained on-site in accordance with statutory and project requirements
  • Conducting audits, inspections and incident investigations and developing effective corrective actions

The following experience/skills are required for this position

  • 8+ years HSE site based experience
  • Certificate IV in OHS, tertiary qualifications are desirable
  • Ability to lead HSE communications in small groups
  • Previous HSE experience in the construction, repair and maintenance of an operational mine
