This specialist iron ore engineering consultancy has been engaged by a leading mining company to assist them in streamlining their iron ore projects. They are overseeing the construction of several expansion projects simultaneously and selected engineering, procurement, construction and management services for a major mining company.  They have a successful track record in delivering multi billion dollar iron ore projects and can provide you with long term career opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to continuous improvement
  • Contribute to civil design reviews
  • Ensure all civil design drawings for engineering project work comply with statutory and regulatory requirements and company policies and practices
  • Liaise with engineers to establish design criteria and ensuring project goals are met;
  • Ensure civil design drawings for engineering projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Prepare preliminary and detailed designs drawings for engineering projects and ensure project work complies with conditions and parameters set out in project scope of works.

The following experience/skills are required for this position

The succssful candidate is required to have:

  • Formal design qualification in related discipline
  • At least 7 years + experience in Civil/Structural Design
  • Previous experience working on EPCM projects
  • 20001
  • ASAP
  • L/T
  • NEG
