This well established engineering consultancy currently service some of the largest and most successful mining oil and gas companies in the world. They have a significant global presence in the engineering and project management industry and can offer you the chance to work worldwide on a broad range of interesting and challenging projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver design drafting according to required project timeframes and standards by coordinating and supervising project members, reviewing deliverables and preparing design and detail drawings in line with requirements.
  • Overcome design/schedule issues by maintaining an overview of activity, communicating with the Project Lead Designer and escalating issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain consistent design drafting standards across projects by communicating expectations and holding project members to account for standards.
  • Contribute to design drafting best practice by providing advice on the application and revision of design drafting systems. 

The following experience/skills are required for this position

The successful candidate is required to have:

  • Significant experience in Civil / Earthworks Design - min 10 years (within the mining industry)
  • Bulk Earthworks, Road and Drainage experience essential
  • Advance diploma or equivalent in Engineering preferred
  • 12D & AutoCAD preferred
  • 19992
