Our client has existing operations Australia wide and throughout the Asia-Pacific region. They are a results focused engineering consultancy about to commence several large scale new projects throughout Australia and are able to service every phase of a project. Their clients include some the largest and most easily recognisable resource company names in the world.

Due to the inception of several new projects in Australia, they have a need for a Group Project Controls Manager to supervise the Project Controls function of their Brisbane office.

This newly created role is an opportunity for you to make your mark by establishing project control guidelines and strategies. You will be responsible for:

? Managing the Project Control function to ensure accurate reporting of information, planning, cost control/forecasting and cost accounting.
? The preparation of a Project Controls plan for each project
? Establishing Project Control processes and procedures for new projects
? Refining procedures, procedures, systems and other standard Project control documentation on existing projects and developing these as required
? Managing and providing guidance to all Project Control staff
? Reviewing all projects on a regular basis to ensure that accurate cost control and forecasting, cost accounting, planning and reporting is occurring and that there is a consistent approach to these activities across all projects

To be successful you will have significant experience leading and managing a team of Project Control professionals.
