The Technical Resources Group (inclusive of Technical Resources Pty Ltd, Technical Resources (Qld) Pty Ltd and PT. Trantek Indonesia) is a temporary and labour hire company providing temporary and labour hire services to the engineering industry and commerce sectors in Australia and overseas.

The Technical Resources Group is committed to the continual well being of its employees and all workers, and to ensuring that all employees and workers are safe from injury and risks to health while at work.

In order to achieve this, the Technical Resources Group's broad objectives are:

• To obtain from the host employer accurate information as to the type of work and the knowledge, skills and experience required by the worker to be able to perform the work safely and competently for the job as specified in the host employer position description;


• To interview potential workers in such a manner so as to be able to select workers with the knowledge, skills and experience required to be able to perform the tasks nominated by the host employer, safely and competently;


• To carry out an induction of the worker to provide details of the job, together with basic generic OH&S information that would apply in the type of work or industry to which the job relates;


• To where ever possible assess work sites to verify the information provided by the host employer, and to assess the risks to health and safety associated with the nominated work and work environment;


• To periodically re-assess work sites with the aim of ensuring that the host employer provides and maintains a working environment that is safe and without risk to the health of all our workers;


• To endeavour to ensure that the host employer carries out suitable induction and job training and that an appropriate level of supervision is provided for all workers.


• To communicate and provide documentation to both the host employer and the worker clearly stating the terms and conditions between the parties, including conditions as pertaining to occupational health and safety;


• To maintain documentary evidence and records relating to all issues of employment and occupational health and safety;

Management has prescribed that the company will have a fully documented Occupational Health and Safety Management System containing detailed procedures designed to facilitate these aims.

The company is committed to ensuring that this management system is implemented throughout its operations.

The effectiveness of this system depends greatly on the support of all our employees, host employer and workers; to this end each employee and worker is expected to be fully committed to the implementation of this policy.The Technical Resources Group acknowledges that no other business practice is more important than the safety of its people.
